Protects the rebar. Galvanically.

Zinc-Rich Rebar Primer is a single-component zinc-rich epoxy primer applied to cleaned reinforcing steel during concrete repair. The high zinc content (≥95%) provides sacrificial cathodic protection – the zinc oxidises preferentially to the steel.

Standard inclusion on all concrete repair specifications involving rebar exposure due to spalling, carbonation, or chloride attack.
