Overview

Closed-cell insulation. Bears the load. Resists moisture.

XPS Insulation Board is an extruded polystyrene closed-cell rigid insulation board for thermal insulation in inverted roof systems, below-grade walls, and other applications requiring high compressive strength combined with moisture resistance.

The standard insulation for inverted (protected membrane) roof systems where the insulation sits above the waterproofing membrane.

Key Features

  • Closed-cell extruded polystyrene
  • High compressive strength (≥ 300 kPa)
  • Very low water absorption (< 0.5%)
  • Lambda value 0.029–0.036 W/mK
  • Tongue-and-groove edge for thermal continuity
  • Suitable for inverted roofs and below-grade
