Overview

Natural clay technology. Permanent below-grade seal.

Bentonite Waterstop Strip combines high-swell natural sodium bentonite clay with a butyl rubber binder. When wetted by groundwater, the bentonite swells dramatically (up to 1500%), forming a dense impermeable gel that fills voids and seals construction joints permanently.

Particularly effective for below-grade applications where the strip remains permanently in contact with groundwater. Standard specification on pile head waterproofing and below-grade construction joints.
