Overview

Ten times the strength. A fraction of the weight.

Carbon Fiber (CFRP) Fabric is a unidirectional carbon fiber fabric for externally bonded reinforcement of concrete, masonry, and timber structures. With tensile strength exceeding 3300 MPa – roughly ten times that of structural steel – installed via wet lay-up with saturating epoxy.

The defining material of modern structural strengthening. Specified on seismic retrofits, change-of-use upgrades, and damage repair projects.

Key Features

  • Tensile strength ≥ 3300 MPa
  • Modulus of elasticity ≥ 230 GPa
  • Light weight – minimal added dead load
  • Corrosion-immune – does not rust like steel
  • Thin profile – does not reduce headroom
  • Wet lay-up with structural saturating epoxy
