Overview

Bridges old and new. Without separation.

SBR Bonding Agent is a styrene-butadiene rubber latex used as a bonding agent and admixture for cementitious repairs. Mixed with Portland cement to form a slurry bond coat, it ensures permanent adhesion between freshly placed repair mortar and prepared substrate concrete.

Also used as a mortar admixture to improve flexibility, water resistance, and adhesion of site-batched repair materials.

Key Features

  • Styrene-butadiene rubber emulsion
  • Creates structural bond between old and new concrete
  • Improves flexural strength and water resistance
  • Can be used as bond coat or mortar admixture
  • Anti-carbonation effect – reduces CO2 permeability
  • Easy site mixing with Portland cement
